Want to feel better about humans?
Good At Heart is about to launch episode 12!
The latest episode of #GoodAtHeart airs this coming Tuesday, and we have so many interviews waiting to air through the end of April - and I can’t wait to share them with you.
Coming up in March and April 2026:
How art can help engage those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss and their care partners: In the Moment Programs offered for free at the Long Island Museum in NY. (This Tuesday, 3/3/26)
The Monroe Summer Orchestra: a group of passionate musicians dedicated to bringing the joy of music to Monroe and the greater Fairfield/New Haven County area , Founded by two brothers while they were High School Seniors.
Bradley Street BicycleCoOp: a community bike shop working towards an equitable New Haven by getting people on bikes and teaching them to repair them- By hanging out, making new friends, and working together to fix bikes, the Bradley Street Bicycle Co-op helps us listen to each other, give out more trust, and love New Haven.
Marlene Correa Foundation - and Gorgeous by Glam - An immigrant and single mother .(nominated by her daughter) who turned her own struggles into purpose - creating the space she wished was there for her when she ran away with her kids years ago.
Cookie For a Cause - a teen-led nonprofit that bakes and sells cookies to raise money for children's healthcare and education. Its founder is still in high school.
All these episodes highlight how one person's idea can spread, with community, to quietly make the world (even a little bit) better.

Introducing a past episode:
Episode two - Possible Futures Books - gets to me every time, and was my second interview. I wrote about it on Substack before it aired on Good At Heart, so many details are in that post.
Possible Futures on Good At Heart
But - I’d love to share the answers to one of my #GoodAtHeart five questions - this one is about a phrase or quote that inspires you. You can hear the whole episode wherever you get your podcasts.
“Lauren: It's the one that's on the mural outside that's like, “we can make freedom out of what we have.” We are blessed with tremendous resources, material resources, human resources, relationships, and the capacity to make the world that we want to live in”
“Jada: My personal quote that I like made up for myself was, “Don't be an octopus.” And it's coming from the little fact that octopuses are incredibly intelligent, but they're solitary… So it's like leaning on community. Yes, I know you can figure this out on your own, but why would you struggle to figure it out when there are people around you who are willing to help?
Please subscribe to Good At Heart, spread the word, and enjoy!
